We can distinguish, for example, the ceilings that close the attic, which offer more possibilities for insulation, ceilings between two floors (this is called floor insulation). In both cases, this configuration will allow you to define the type of insulation needed, namely in rolls, in sheets or to be sprayed. If the rollers are easy to use and inexpensive, they require a certain thickness to be effective and are not always suitable for insulating a floor, where the polystyrene and polyurethane sheets will be easier to use. If your ceiling closes the attic, you can also opt for the projection of cellulose wadding, which allows you to cover your attic in every corner in record time.

Mistake # 3: Not equipping properly

If you do not call a professional for the insulation of your ceiling, know that it is still a fairly technical operation. So prepare your site well so as to make your task easier and above all equip yourself with the right tools. For example, you will need special scissors for cutting rock wool or a quality cutter for cutting polystyrene panels. Provide a workspace to prepare your cuts and make sure that your site is not cluttered to avoid accidents. Finally, when handling the different insulators, it is strongly recommended to wear protective glasses and gloves, especially for mineral insulators.
