Snapshots of family life, decorative and DIY favorites, the Prune & Violette blog is the joyful hodgepodge of a young mother full of talent. For her daughter, Violette imagines lots of discovered activities, like the tutorial for which we find her today, a homemade modeling clay.

you will need: - 2 glasses of flour - 2 glasses of water - 1 glass of salt - 2 tablespoons of oil (in this tutorial olive oil is used) - 1 tablespoon of bicarbonate soda

1. In a saucepan, combine the flour, salt and baking soda. 2. Add water and oil. Heat over low heat and stir gently until the dough comes off the edges (about 5 minutes). Let cool… And it's ready!

We get a plasticine with a super texture, made only with natural ingredients and much cheaper than that of the trade! It can be kept for three to four months in the fridge, in an airtight container.
It can also be colored with food coloring (in the pastry department on a large surface) or natural colors (turmeric for yellow, beet for pink, paprika for red, etc.). Thanks to Violette for her creation! Did you like this tutorial? Send us photos of your plasticine on our Facebook page, and find other ideas on our Pinterest!
